Course Overview
This 15 km urban night-view route crosses Cheongju and climbs to Suamgol Mural Village and Sangdangsanseong Fortress on the slopes of Uamsan. Sangdangsanseong is a valley-enclosing fortress built during the Baekje era, with a 4.2 km perimeter wall.
Suamgol Mural Village transformed from a Korean War refugee settlement into a tourist attraction through public art projects. It's also famous as a filming location for the drama "King of Baking, Kim Tak Goo." Ideally, start at sunset, catch the golden hour at Suamgol, then enjoy the city lights from the fortress.
