Course Overview
Yeongdong produces the most grapes in Korea, accounting for 40% of the country's wine output, earning it the title "Korea's Napa Valley." This 22 km course centers on the 420 m Wine Tunnel and loops through surrounding wineries and vineyards.
The Wine Tunnel is a renovated railway tunnel turned wine museum where visitors can learn about local wine history, production, and enjoy tastings. Nearby wineries include Wine Korea, Yeopo Wine Farm, and Wollyuwon Wine Cafe.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Yeongdong-eup to Wine Tunnel (approx. 8 km)
Follow Yeongdong Healing Road to reach the Wine Tunnel, which houses tasting rooms, experience centers, and a restaurant.
Section 2: Wine Tunnel to Wine Korea (approx. 7 km)
Drive through vineyard-lined farm roads visiting multiple wineries. Wine Korea, the largest in the region, offers guided tours.
Section 3: Wine Korea to Wollyubong (approx. 7 km)
Wollyubong, one of Yeongdong's Eight Scenic Views, is a dramatic rock cliff rising above the Geum River.
