Course Overview
Goseong is Korea's northernmost coastal region. This approximately 42 km drive along Route 7 from the Unification Observatory to Hwajinpo offers both DMZ security tourism and unspoiled East Coast scenery.
From the Unification Observatory, the silhouettes of Mt. Geumgang's Birobong and Haegeum-gang are faintly visible. The DMZ Museum provides insights into the history of national division. Hwajinpo is a historically significant lake where the villas of presidents Rhee Syngman and Kim Il-sung still stand.
