Course Overview

The Jeonju Hanok Village to Omokdae Drive explores Korea's largest traditional hanok preservation district and its surrounding historic sites across approximately 18 km. Starting from the village with its beautiful tile-roofed houses, the route climbs to Omokdae for a panoramic view, then passes Gyeonggijeon Shrine and Jeondong Cathedral before finishing along the Jeonjucheon Stream.

Cherry blossoms frame the tile roofs in spring, while ginkgo trees and autumn foliage add warmth in fall. The area is renowned for Jeonju bibimbap, Korean full-course meals, and chocolate pie.

Section Highlights

Section 1: Hanok Village Entrance to Gyeonggijeon (approx. 5 km)
