Course Overview
A 25 km drive viewing Palyeongsan's eight-peak silhouette then crossing Sorok Bridge to Sorokdo Island. Sorokdo features a leprosy history museum and beautiful cypress forests for nature and history experiences.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Palyeongsan Entrance to Observatory (approx. 10 km)
Drive to the observatory for views of the eight rocky peaks in formation.
Section 2: Palyeongsan to Sorokdo (approx. 15 km)
Follow the coastal road through Nokdong Port, crossing Sorok Bridge to the island.
Driving Tips
- Sorokdo admission is free; bicycle rental available
- Full Palyeongsan hike takes about 4 hours; observatory viewing recommended
- Nokdong Port is famous for haemultang (seafood stew)
