Course Overview
A 25 km drive from Taeansa Temple on Dongrisan Mountain to the taeguk (yin-yang) shaped bend of the Seomjin River. Taeansa, founded during Silla King Gyeongdeok's reign, is especially beautiful with autumn foliage.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Taeansa Temple (approx. 5 km)
Follow the forest path to Taeansa. A maple tunnel forms from the entrance gate to the main hall.
Section 2: Temple to Taeguk River Bend (approx. 20 km)
View the S-shaped Seomjin River bend from an observatory point.
Driving Tips
- Taeansa admission: 2,000 KRW for adults
- Peak autumn foliage: late October to early November
- The taeguk shape is only visible from elevated viewpoints
