Course Overview
An 18 km circuit drive on Cheongsando Island, reached by ferry from Wando Port. Designated Asia's first Slow City in 2007, the island offers terraced rice paddies, stone wall paths, and spring canola fields for the ultimate slow travel experience.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Port to Seopyeonje Road (approx. 8 km)
Pass the filming location of the movie Seopyeonje and its stone wall paths.
Section 2: Seopyeonje Road to Beomba Rock (approx. 10 km)
Follow the southern coast to Beomba Rock observatory with Dadohae views.
Driving Tips
- Wando-Cheongsando ferry: approx. 9,000 KRW round trip (extra for vehicle)
- Island speed limit 30 km/h as befits a Slow City
- Most beautiful during spring canola season (April)
- Walking and cycling are also excellent options
