Course Overview
Baeksu Coastal Road is a 16 km seaside road along Baeksu-eup in Yeonggwang, renowned as the West Sea's premier sunset viewpoint. The setting sun over rocky formations draws photographers from across the country.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Northern Entrance (approx. 8 km)
Drive along coastal cliffs and rock formations.
Section 2: Southern Road to Sunset Observatory (approx. 8 km)
Watch the sun set over the western horizon from the dedicated observatory.
Driving Tips
- Arrive 30 minutes before sunset
- Entire road is two lanes with 50 km/h speed limit
- Enjoy coffee and sunset simultaneously at roadside cafes
