Course Overview
Uijeongbu sits between Dobongsan and Suraksan mountains. In spring, the approach to Hoeryongsa Temple transforms into a cherry blossom tunnel. This 15 km course runs from the temple to Songsan area.
The route passes through Uijeongbu's famous budae-jjigae (army stew) street, combining spring scenery with culinary delights.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Hoeryongsa to Downtown (approx. 8 km)
Through the cherry blossom tunnel into the city center.
Section 2: Downtown to Songsan (approx. 7 km)
Past the budae-jjigae street to the Songsan nature area.
Driving Tips
- Cherry blossom peak: early to mid-April
- Visit the original Uijeongbu budae-jjigae street
- Hoeryongsa parking is free (crowded on weekends)
