Course Overview
This drive visits the UNESCO World Heritage Joseon Royal Tombs in Yeoju. Yeongneung is the joint tomb of King Sejong the Great (4th king) and Queen Soheon, while Nyeongneung holds King Hyojong (17th king) and Queen Inseon.
Starting from Yeoju, visit the royal tombs before continuing to Silleuksa Temple and Yeoju Ceramics Village, combining the heritage of Hangul creation with beautiful Namhan River scenery.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Yeoju to Royal Tombs (approx. 8 km)
Follow Yeongneung-ro from Yeoju Station to well-maintained pine forest trails at the tombs.
Section 2: Tombs to King Sejong History Museum (approx. 5 km)
Learn about King Sejong's achievements and the creation of Hangul at the adjacent museum.
Section 3: Museum to Silleuksa to Ceramics Village (approx. 12 km)
Visit riverside Silleuksa Temple and try pottery making at Yeoju Ceramics Village.

- Royal tomb admission: adult KRW 500 (free for under 24)
- Annual Sejong Cultural Festival in May
