Course Overview
Aewol-eup's coastal road is Jeju's hottest cafe district. Cliff-top cafes, hidden stone-wall cafes, and large ocean-view cafes line the coast with unique character.
This 18 km drive from Handam Coastal Trail follows the Aewol coast through cafe stops to Hyeopjae Beach.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Aewol Handam Trail to Cafe Street (approx. 5 km)
Enjoy the black basalt and emerald sea of Handam Coastal Trail, then coffee at waterfront cafes. Instagram hotspots like Monsant de Aewol and Cafe Bomnal abound.
Section 2: Aewol Coastal Road Cafe Tour (approx. 7 km)
Driving the coast discovering stone-wall cafes, tangerine orchard cafes, and haenyeo-concept cafes with Jeju character.
Section 3: Hyeopjae Beach to Hallim Cafes (approx. 6 km)
End with a final cafe against Hyeopjae Beach's emerald waters with Biyangdo Island views.
