Yeongju offers both culinary excellence and cultural heritage in inland Gyeongbuk. Yeongju Hanwoo, raised in the pristine environment of Sobaeksan's foothills, is known for tender texture and deep flavor. Punggi ginseng is the original Korean ginseng, available at Punggi Ginseng Market.

This 30 km drive visits Yeongju Hanwoo restaurants, Punggi Ginseng Market, UNESCO World Heritage Sosu Seowon, and Buseoksa Temple.
