Course Overview
The Okcheon Geumgang River 50-ri Drive begins at the Geumgang Recreation Area right off the Geumgang IC and follows the river north for approximately 25 km to Janggye Tourist Area, Busodamak cliffs, and Dongnakjeong Pavilion. The Geumgang River sweeps through Okcheon County in a grand arc from south to north, creating stunning riverside scenery perfect for a leisurely drive.
Spring brings golden rapeseed flowers along the riverbanks, while summer offers lush green riverside drives. Janggye Tourist Area sits on the calm shores of Daecheong Lake with forest walking trails and a local heritage museum.
