This approximately 48 km Route 7 coastal drive connecting Gangneung and Donghae offers both Gangneung's coffee culture and East Coast harbor cuisine. Start at Anmok Beach Coffee Street, then pass Gyeongpo Beach, Jumunjin Port, and end at Mukho Port.

Gangneung is Korea's coffee capital, with dozens of cafes clustered at Anmok Beach alone. Jumunjin Port's breakwater is famous as a BTS album photo location, and Mukho Port attracts visitors with its fresh sashimi and lighthouse mural village.

Section Highlights

Section 1: Anmok Coffee Street to Gyeongpo Beach (approx. 8 km)

Start with a coffee. Gyeongpo Beach boasts a 2 km white sand stretch as Gangneung's premier beach.

Section 2: Gyeongpo Beach to Jumunjin Port (approx. 18 km)

Drive north along the coastal road. Enjoy sashimi or dried fish at Jumunjin Fish Market.

Section 3: Jumunjin Port to Mukho Port (approx. 22 km)

Leave Gangneung and enter Donghae City. End at Mukho Port's sashimi street and lighthouse mural village.
