Course Overview
Hwacheon sits on the pristine upper Bukhan River, so clean that otters inhabit it. This 20 km course runs from Hwacheon-eup through Sudallae Village (otter observation) to Bungeo Island.
Spring brings riverside cherry blossoms, while summer offers water play and rafting.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Hwacheon-eup to Otter Village (approx. 10 km)
Drive along the Bukhan River and experience otter ecology at Sudallae Village.
Section 2: Otter Village to Bungeo Island (approx. 10 km)
Enjoy a picnic on the small riverside island of Bungeo.
