Course Overview

A Yangyang sunrise drive, watching the East Sea sunrise at Naksansa's Uisangdae and Hongryeonam, then driving 15 km south to Hajodae Lighthouse.

Uisangdae, where Silla Master Uisang once meditated, offers what is often called Korea's most beautiful sunrise from its clifftop perch. Hajodae Lighthouse is Yangyang's symbol.

Section Highlights

Section 1: Naksansa (approx. 5 km)

Watch the sunrise from Uisangdae and Hongryeonam. The Haesugwaneumsang statue against the sunrise is spectacular.

Section 2: Naksansa to Hajodae (approx. 10 km)

Drive south along the coast to Hajodae Lighthouse for ocean panoramas.

  • Naksansa admission: 3,000 KRW (accessible at sunrise hours)
