Course Overview

Yeongwol is where the Donggang River's spectacular carved landscapes coexist with the tragic history of King Danjong. This approximately 40 km course starting from Yeongwol-eup connects Cheongnyeongpo, the Korean Peninsula-shaped terrain, and Eorayeon, driving along riverside roads to enjoy Donggang's hidden beauty.

The Korean Peninsula-shaped terrain, where the Seogang River curves to create the exact shape of the Korean Peninsula, was designated Scenic Site No. 75 in 2011. Eorayeon is considered the finest among the 12 Scenic Views of Donggang and is Scenic Site No. 14.
