Course Overview

This approximately 20 km drive connects Juwangsan National Park, renowned for its dramatic rock formations, to Jusanji Reservoir, famous for its ethereal morning mist. Juwangsan's valleys feature stunning waterfalls like Yongchu Falls, and autumn foliage among the rocky peaks is spectacular.

Jusanji is a mysterious reservoir where 300-year-old willow trees dip their branches into the water, creating cinematic scenes when morning mist rises. Cheongsong apples and chicken baeksuk (whole chicken soup) are local specialties.

Section Highlights

Section 1: Cheongsong Town to Juwangsan Entrance (approx. 8 km)

A gentle road from Cheongsong town toward the national park with minimal slopes and curves.

Section 2: Juwangsan National Park (approx. 5 km)

Connect with the Jubangcheon Valley trekking from Daejeonsa Temple. The Yongchu Gorge rock formations and waterfalls are the highlight.

Section 3: Juwangsan to Jusanji (approx. 7 km)

Head toward Budong-myeon to reach Jusanji. Early morning visits are recommended.
