Course Overview
The Palgongsan Mountain Loop Drive circles Daegu's guardian mountain (1,193 m) over approximately 35 km of winding road, from Donghwasa Temple through Pagyesa Temple to the Gatbawi Buddha statue. Each season paints a different picture.
Spring brings cherry blossoms and azaleas, summer deep green canopy, and autumn transforms the 16.3 km road into a brilliant foliage tunnel. Donghwasa's 33 m Unified Medicine Buddha statue and Gatbawi's wish-granting legend add cultural depth.
