Course Overview
The Ulleungdo Island Loop Drive follows the 44.5 km perimeter road that took 55 years to complete, circling the entire island from Dodong Port through Jeodong, Naesujeong, Cheonbu, Hyeonpo, Taeha, Namyang, and Sadong back to Dodong.
The views of the East Sea from roads perched on coastal cliffs are unlike anything else in Korea. The route crosses four steep hills, making it challenging but immensely rewarding. Local specialties include squid, pumpkin taffy, and barnacle rice.
