Course Overview
This coastal drive runs from Taejongdae in Yeongdo-gu to Songdo Beach. Taejongdae features Busan's most iconic coastal cliffs, reaching 100 m in height, with views to Japan's Tsushima on clear days.
Yeongdo Bridge is Korea's only bascule bridge, opening daily at 2 PM. After passing Jagalchi Market, arrive at Songdo Beach for an aerial cable car ride over the sea.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Taejongdae Loop Road (approx. 5 km)
Circle Taejongdae Park's loop road. The observatory and lighthouse views of the South Sea and Yeongdo's coastal cliffs are magnificent.
Section 2: Yeongdo to Jagalchi Market (approx. 8 km)
Cross Yeongdo Bridge to Jagalchi Market, Busan's iconic fish market, for fresh sashimi.
Section 3: Jagalchi to Songdo Beach (approx. 7 km)
Follow the Amnam Park coastal road to Songdo Beach. The Songdo Air Cruise cable car (17,000 KRW round trip) crosses over the sea.
Driving Tips
- Take the Taejongdae Danubi train to tour without walking (3,000 KRW)
- Yeongdo Bridge opening: daily 14:00-14:15 (15 minutes)
