Course Overview

Yangsan's Tongdosa Temple, one of Korea's three greatest temples alongside Haeinsa and Songgwangsa, is a millennium-old Buddhist temple. The pine forest road (Mupung Hansong-gil) on the approach to Tongdosa is designated a Gyeongnam Monument.

Climbing along Yeongchuksan's foothills from Tongdosa reveals different landscapes each season--cherry blossoms and azaleas in spring, autumn foliage coloring the temple grounds. Tongdosa's Seongbo Museum houses national treasure-level Buddhist art.
