Course Overview

This approximately 25 km family-friendly drive starts from Imsil Cheese Village, the birthplace of Korean cheese, and follows the lakeside to Okjeongho Lake's chrysanthemum theme park. Enjoy pizza-making and cheese-stretching activities before a lakeside drive.

Okjeongho is an artificial lake on the upper Seomjin River. In October, the chrysanthemum theme park blooms in white, adding autumn romance to the scenic lake drive.

Section Highlights

Section 1: Imsil Cheese Village (approx. 5 km)

Korea's first cheese production site, started in 1966 by Belgian Father Ji Jeong-hwan. Activities include pizza-making, cheese-making, and ice cream-making.

Section 2: Cheese Village to Okjeongho (approx. 12 km)

Drive through Imsil's pastoral scenery along the upper Seomjin River.

Section 3: Okjeongho to Chrysanthemum Park (approx. 8 km)

Follow the lakeshore to the theme park, which transforms into a white flower garden during the October festival.
