Course Overview

This 25 km drive starts from the Metasequoia Road, one of Korea's 100 Most Beautiful Roads, and continues through Gwanbangjerim Forest to Juknokwon Bamboo Garden. The 8.5 km straight road lined with 10-20 meter tall metasequoia trees on both sides evokes European countryside drives.

Juknokwon is a 310,000-pyeong bamboo forest park on the slopes of Seonginsan Mountain. Eight walking trails weave through the bamboo groves where sunlight and wind create a naturally healing atmosphere. Damyang also offers excellent cuisine including daetongbap (bamboo rice) and tteokgalbi (grilled short rib patties).
