Course Overview
This 50 km drive starts from Naro Space Center, Korea's only rocket launch facility, follows the Goheung Peninsula coastline, and ends at Geogeum Bridge. After experiencing rocket launch history at the Space Science Museum, enjoy Dadohae archipelago scenery along the southern coastal road.
Geogeum Bridge is a 2,028m cable-stayed bridge offering splendid views of Geogeumdo Island and the South Sea. Goheung is also known for its citron and pomegranate production.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Space Center to Nokdong Port (approx. 20 km)
After visiting the Space Science Museum, follow the coastal road to Nokdong Port. A brief detour across Sorok Bridge to Sorokdo Island is possible.
Section 2: Nokdong to Palyeongsan (approx. 15 km)
Palyeongsan (609m) features eight rock peaks in a row. The entrance observatory offers stunning views without hiking.
Section 3: Palyeongsan to Geogeum Bridge (approx. 15 km)
Coastal road to Geogeum Bridge. Stop at the observatory before the bridge for views of the cable-stayed bridge and archipelago.
