Course Overview

This 35 km spring-exclusive drive starts from Gwangyang's Daap-myeon, where thousands of plum trees burst into white blossoms every early March, and follows the Seomjin River. The sight of the entire village blanketed in plum blossom clouds, centered around Cheongmaesil Farm, is Jeonnam's signature spring landscape.

Driving along the riverside road, you can see Hadong's mountain slopes across the river and enjoy the harmony of plum blossoms and sansuyu flowers emerging through spring mist. Seomjin River's freshwater clams are at their most flavorful during this season.

Section Highlights

Section 1: Plum Blossom Village (approx. 5 km)
