Course Overview
This 48 km drive starts from Land's End Village, the southernmost point of the Korean peninsula, and follows the coastline to Usuyeong Tourist Area. From Land's End Observatory, the islands of Bogildo and Nohwado unfold like a panorama, while the coastal road offers majestic western sunsets.
Usuyeong is the historic site of Admiral Yi Sun-sin's Myeongnyang naval victory, where you can observe the powerful currents of Uldolmok Strait. Haenam is famous for seafood and local Hanwoo beef, and adding Daeheungsa Temple on Duryunsan Mountain creates a well-rounded mountain-and-sea itinerary.
