Course Overview
The Geumsan Jeokbyeokgang Drive follows the upper Geumgang River for about 28 km from Banguri to Jeokbyeokgang. The route takes National Route 37 and Provincial Road 601, featuring the unique experience of crossing six bridges over the Geumgang River.
Jeokbyeokgang is where the Geumgang River curves around mountains, creating dramatic red cliffs rising 30 meters high. Below the cliffs, still waters and wide gravel banks spread out, earning it the nickname 'Korea's Little Red Cliff.' After crossing the narrow Sutong Bridge and Jeokbyeok Bridge (barely one car wide), the spectacular canyon finally reveals itself.
