Course Overview
The Yangpyeong Yongmunsa Snow Drive is a winter temple drive just one hour from Seoul. Yongmunsa's thousand-year-old ginkgo tree (Natural Monument No. 30) is famous for autumn foliage, but its snow-covered winter form is equally majestic. The 42m tall, 15.2m circumference giant tree draped in snow flowers creates a time-stopping moment.
A short but rewarding course from Yangpyeong-eup through Yongmunsan Natural Recreation Forest to the temple. Combined with Yangpyeong's winter specialties of perilla seed sujebi and Hanwoo beef, it makes a perfect winter outing.
