Course Overview
Hanyangdoseong, built in 1396 right after the founding of Joseon, is Seoul's fortress wall stretching 18.6 km. This 12 km course starts from Changuimun Gate, passes Bugak Skyway, and heads toward Inwangsan Mountain.
The panoramic view of Seoul and the former presidential residence area from the fortress wall is stunning. Night illumination on the walls creates a different atmosphere.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Changuimun to Bugaksan (approx. 6 km)
Follow the fortress wall to the summit area of Bugaksan.
Section 2: Bugaksan to Inwangsan (approx. 6 km)
Descend toward Inwangsan while enjoying Seochon village views.
Driving Tips
- Park at public lots near Changuimun Gate
- Bugak Skyway closes 11 PM to 5 AM
- Walking the fortress wall is also recommended (about 2 hours)
- Can combine with Seochon cafe street
