Course Overview
Starting from Gimpo's Han River New Town, this 30 km course heads north along the Han River estuary to Aegibong Peace Eco Park. The wide river, tidal flats, and migratory bird habitats create stunning natural scenery.
Aegibong has an observation deck overlooking the confluence of the Han and Imjin rivers, with views of North Korea's Gaepung County on clear days. Winter brings red-crowned cranes and eagles.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Han River New Town to Haseong-myeon (approx. 15 km)
Drive north along the riverside with expansive views of the river and tidal flats.
Section 2: Haseong-myeon to Aegibong (approx. 15 km)
Reach the eco park for views of the Han-Imjin river confluence and North Korea.
