Course Overview
Icheon is Korea's ceramics capital with a 500-year tradition of pottery making. This 40 km course starts at Icheon Sagimakgol Pottery Village, passes Seolbong Mountain, and ends at Yeoju's Yeongneung (Royal Tomb of King Sejong).
Over 200 pottery workshops offer tours and hands-on ceramic experiences. Icheon is also famous for its rice-based cuisine with restaurants clustered near the village. The journey concludes with visits to the tombs of King Sejong and King Hyojong in Yeoju.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Pottery Village to Seolbong Park (approx. 12 km)
Tour the ceramic workshops before heading to the park at the foot of Seolbong Mountain.
Section 2: Seolbong Park to Yeoju (approx. 18 km)
Countryside scenery accompanies the drive into Yeoju.
Section 3: Yeoju to Yeongneung (approx. 10 km)
Visit the royal tombs of King Sejong and King Hyojong.
