Course Overview
The National Arboretum (Gwangneung Forest) is a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve with over 500 years of natural forest conservation. This 25 km forest drive goes from the arboretum to Chungnyeongsan Recreation Forest.
Spring brings fresh green, summer dense shade, and autumn vivid foliage. The arboretum requires advance reservation with limited daily visitors.
Section Highlights
Section 1: National Arboretum (approx. 10 km)
Drive through the 500-year natural forest approach road.
Section 2: Arboretum to Chungnyeongsan (approx. 15 km)
Follow forest roads to the recreation forest.
