Course Overview
The Paju Jayuro to Imjingak Drive is the closest DMZ-area course from Seoul. Entering Jayuro (National Route 77) from Ilsan, the 42 km journey follows the Han River estuary northward to Imjingak, right at the edge of the civilian control zone.
Jayuro runs alongside the estuary where the Han and Imjin rivers meet. In winter, the spectacular sight of red-crowned cranes and eagles draws nature enthusiasts. Imjingak Peace Park offers a moving reflection on Korea's division and hopes for reunification.
