Course Overview

Yeoju is central to the Namhan River region. This 18 km course starts at Gangcheon Island Eco Park, visits the ancient Silleuksa Temple, and ends at King Sejong's Royal Tomb (Yeongneung).

Gangcheon Island is famous for autumn silver grass, and Silleuksa offers stunning temple views overlooking the river. Yeoju's famous rice makes for excellent course meal dining.

Section Highlights

Section 1: Gangcheon Island to Silleuksa (approx. 8 km)

Enjoy the silver grass fields then visit the riverside temple.

Section 2: Silleuksa to Yeongneung (approx. 10 km)

Follow the river to King Sejong's royal tomb.

Driving Tips

  • Silver grass peak: mid-October to early November
  • Try hanjeongsik on Yeoju Rice Street
  • Yeongneung admission: 500 KRW for adults
