Course Overview
Jeongokri Prehistoric Site is where East Asia's first Acheulean handaxe was discovered in 1978, a globally significant archaeological site. This 20 km course goes from the museum to the Hantan River's Jaein Waterfall.
This unique course combines Paleolithic artifacts with the UNESCO Global Geopark Hantan River canyon.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Prehistoric Site to Hantan River (approx. 10 km)
Visit the museum then head toward the Hantan River.
Section 2: Hantan River to Jaein Waterfall (approx. 10 km)
Follow the canyon to the waterfall.
