Course Overview
The Taean Kkotji Beach Sunset Drive offers the West Coast's finest sunset. Kkotji Beach on Anmyeondo is counted among Korea's top 3 sunset points for the way the setting sun frames between two sea stacks (Halmi Rock and Halabi Rock).
Starting from Mallipo Beach through Taean Coastal National Park beaches to Kkotji, this course delivers the ultimate sunset driving experience, especially in autumn and winter with clear skies and golden hues.
Section Highlights
Section 1: Mallipo to Cheollipo Arboretum (approx. 8 km)
Start at Mallipo Beach and visit Cheollipo Arboretum, a world-class garden with over 9,000 plant species.
Section 2: Cheollipo to Anmyeondo Entrance (approx. 12 km)
Head south along the Taean coast and cross Anmyeon Bridge for wide-open West Sea views.
Section 3: Anmyeondo to Kkotji Beach (approx. 15 km)
Follow Anmyeondo's coastal road to Kkotji Beach for the sunset between the sea stacks.
